Nameless will be headlining the event as he celebrates 25 years in music, while Daddy Owen will also be marking 20 years in the industry. Old school artists such as Jua Cali will be performing alongside new school acts, creating a shared experience that reflects the evolution of Kenyan music from its foundations to its current sound.
Solfest will also be spotlighting the new wave of artists who have had an exceptional year. Performers including Lil Maina, Njerae, We Are Nubia, and Toxic Lyrically will be representing the future of Kenyan music, bringing fresh energy and diverse styles to the festival. Blankets and Wine
Blankets and Wine will also be returning to Nairobi on Sunday, December 21, 2025, taking place at Laureate Gardens within the Moi International Sports Centre in Kasarani. The festival will be marking its 17th year, continuing its legacy as one of East Africa’s most loved music and lifestyle events. Known for its relaxed outdoor setting, Blankets and Wine will be bringing together music, food, fashion, and community, offering an experience designed for connection, creativity, and celebration.
This year’s edition will be featuring a diverse lineup of African artists representing different sounds and generations. Kenyan acts including Matata, Iyanii, Okello Max, Ssaru, Bridgit Blue, Elsy Wameyo, and Shad Mziki will be performing, each bringing their unique blend of Afro-fusion, soul, R&B, pop, and contemporary Kenyan sounds to the stage. The festival will also be welcoming South African group MiCasa, whose blend of house, jazz, and soul will add an international dimension to the experience and broaden the musical journey for attendees.

Fresh off his historic headline performance at Red Bull Symphonic in Brooklyn, where he became the first African artist to lead the U.S. edition of the show and reimagined his hits backed by a full orchestra, he will be bringing his electric sound and stage presence to Kenyan fans. Asake’s Red Bull Symphonic performance showcased his ability to blend Afrobeats with orchestral textures and featured surprise appearances from global artists, highlighting his rising global influence and musical versatility.
