Nairobi City Tour
Description
Welcome to the one-day Nairobi City Explore Tour Experience with Globold Tours and Travel.
6:00 am – Pick up from Hotel / Airport
Guests will be picked up from the airport or their respective hotels within Nairobi by a designated Globold Tours and Travel vehicle, where the tour will begin.
6:30 am – 10:00 am – Game Drive at Nairobi National Park
Enjoy a thrilling game drive in Nairobi National Park. The park features wide-open grass plains with the stunning backdrop of the city skyline. Scattered acacia bush plays host to a wide variety of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, and giraffes. There is also a rich birdlife with over 400 species recorded. The Park has the best views for photography opportunities.
10:30 am – 12:00 noon – David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage
Guests will visit the famous David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see baby elephants that have been rescued from the wild and are being rehabilitated here. One of the center’s representatives will offer an educational session about the conservation efforts, and guests will enjoy watching the elephants being fed and playing in their natural habitat.
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm – Lunch Break
Lunch will be at a nearby mall or a popular African restaurant. Our driver-guide will recommend options. Note: Lunch cost is not included.
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm – Giraffe Centre
Visit the Giraffe Centre, home to the endangered Rothschild giraffes. Guests will enjoy feeding and interacting with the giraffes and learning about their conservation efforts.
3:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Karen Blixen Museum
Guests will tour the Karen Blixen Museum, the former home of the famous author of Out of Africa. The museum offers insight into colonial-era Kenya and Blixen’s life.
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm – KICC Rooftop Viewpoint
Guests will head back to the city and visit the rooftop of the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC), one of Nairobi’s tallest buildings. From here, they will enjoy a 360-degree view of Nairobi city.
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Maasai Market
After the breathtaking city views, guests will head to the Maasai Market. This vibrant open-air market offers an opportunity to shop for handmade African artifacts, jewelry, crafts, and souvenirs from various Kenyan communities.
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Dinner at Carnivore Restaurant
Dinner will be at the world-famous Carnivore Restaurant. Guests will enjoy a wide range of African dishes and barbecue meats. Note: Dinner is at own cost.
After dinner, guests will be driven back to their hotel or the airport to catch their scheduled flight.
